Dissecting Table is one of the most influential Noise artists from the early Japanese Industrial years. The first Dissecting Table recordings are quite unique in the Japanese Industrial scene, as the band was working with very concrete rhythms and screaming voices and they even had dark and slow songs, which was completely untypical for this time and region. The only comparisons to early Dissecting Table recordings might be the legendary albums of GRIM and WHITE HOSPITAL. On this 2CD-set You find the A-side of the first 7" (Ultimate Psychological Description - 1986), the first LP (Ultra point of intersection exist - 1987), the first CD (Between life and death - 1990), all compilation tracks up to 1991 and even a UNRELEASED track from 1986 ! - this 2 CD-set is a milestone for Noise addicts and it's one of the most essential works in Noise music in general!

I cannot praise this album enough. This album is absolutely terrifying! The many starts and stops creates this very h settling tension. Each start expands on the stopper idea previously. It’s like the music equivalent of walking through thick fog while passing out multiple times throughout trying to find a place to orientate yourself. There may or may not be something sinister in that fog, but you don’t want to stick around to find out. Bought the vinyl so I summon the fog demons through spe showhornwithteeth
