My original plan was to go through and buy individual tracks like I do with most compilation albums, but honestly there are just so many good ones that I wound up buying the whole thing. More than simple drones (though there are plenty of those, too), this album collects many of the best and most innovative dark ambient artists in one place, including many who are new to me. Seriously, if you like this kind of brooding music, just buy it. You won't regret it.

Mostly monorhythmic compositions heaving ectoplasmic pulsing and dark matter drone through my speakers, while Where The Sun Don't Shine is both funny (maybe?) and full of hard-ass industrial energy.
